Mascara is the one part of my makeup routine I have yet to find the perfect match. I decided to test out four of the top reviewed and most purchased mascaras on Amazon. I put nothing on my lashes prior to application, not even an eyelash curler was used. However, at the bottom of this review I do show two lash primers with my #1 pick to see if it enhanced the appearance at all.
I loved the application brush. I find that I lean more toward the rubber applicators. I also liked how the mascara added fullness to my lashes but not too heavy. Happy to report no flaking and it washed off pretty good.
The brush puts you at risk for clumping your lashes together. However, It definitely makes your lashes stand out. The price makes it worth a purchase. Another positive was that after hours or wear there was no flaking and it washed off easily.
I wasn’t a fan of the brush but it did fan my lashes out well. I would say this was just your average mascara. It did not really stand out to me. It washed off easily and no flaking during the day.
I loved the application brush. It fanned my lashes out beautifully, but it did not make my lashes look full. Looking in the mirror from far away, it looked like my lashes were bare. It never flaked, which I can appreciate, but It did not wash off easily.
