For My Father in Law

For My Mother in Law
We got her an assortment of gifts this year one being the 5 for $25 foam hand soaps special. She always uses Bath and Body Works soaps but she needed some winter scents! We got her a Moon Beam Sleep Aid in hopes that it can help her with her insomnia because it seems that the medications and other tactics have been failing. My mother in law is also a little weather guru so we bought metal art that will measure how many inches it snows this winter. If you read about the gifts we gave last year then you know about the wall collage we did for her. In her Christmas gift this year I will also include new print to update all the family frames on display there.

For Rob’s Grandma
Speaking of weather gurus, Rob’s grandma also qualifies. She joins us for the Urich family Christmas each year and buys gifts for the great grandkids so we like to spoil her too. This year she is getting a Tear Drop Storm Glass. A storm glass is a weather predicting device with crystal formations that supposedly change based on impending weather. Its a great conversation pieces, it is fun, and qualifies as decor!

My Mom
This year we split the cost with one of my sisters to get my mom a security system for her new home. We got her a basic starter kit and from there she can purchase more pieces if she would like. She can also enroll in their security subscription and if the alarm goes off and is not disabled right away they will notify the police.
Side Note: You can add all sorts of equipment like more window devices or cameras and so on to this security system! If you choose not to subscribe to the security service then the alarm will simply alarm only and you will be in charge of calling 911.
Our Sibling Picks
Each year all my siblings and their spouses put our names in a hat and draw to see who buys who a gift. This year I drew my brother in law. He is currently in Nevada working as a travel nurse so he is getting some happy mail from me this year.
Rob drew my littlest sister this year so he got her a bath caddy and a lunch box
Our Nieces and Nephew
Our nephew will be five in January and we have been told he has so many toys that sometimes it makes it hard to shop for him. We chose to go a whole new route from what he usually plays with and hopefully it sparks a new interest.
One of our nieces just turned one in November. We are gifting her a Melissa & Doug Fill And Spill Bug Jug after seeing our other niece (who is close in age) obsess over her bug jug.
Last but not least our other niece will be one in February and we are getting her a little blow up pool and some water toys. This is sort of a gifting to Briar too because they play together all the time and did not have a pool last year at my sisters.
What I Got Rob
This year he had a lot of tactile stuff he wanted (that I know nothing about) so I gave him a gift card to T.Rex Arms and then also gave him some crew neck sweatshirts for his workouts.
What Rob Got Me
I found an automatic paint roller, stickers for my planner, a new Kindle case, and a travel caddy under the tree this year!
What Briar Got From US
Briar got a battery operated ride along Minnie Mouse four wheeler and a Look and Find Book with toy story characters. Her new favorite movie is “Buzz” aka Toy Story and she loves look and find books.
Side Note: The four wheeler we actually found on facebook marketplace. The family had only used it indoors so the condition was amazing! I did link below a very similar style to what she got.
