Nashville Girl’s Trip

Night One: We stop into several bars on Broadway, aka the strip, but some highlights were 32 Bridge (Luke Bryan’s Bar) Kid Rock’s Bar and Jason Aldean’s Bar. Jason Aldean’s was our favorite bar that night because the band there played lots of 90’s country songs!

Our First Full Day in Nashville: We spent the morning at the pool sucking down some Bloody Marys. We stayed at Margaritaville. The rooms had little kitchenettes; The hotel had an outdoor pool with a bar and restaurant, another bar and grille on the main level and a Starbucks. It was a little over two blocks away rom the strip.

Night Two: We once again ventured out to hit some of the bars on the strip. Some highlights were Coyote Ugly, ACME rooftop, and Ole Red (Blake Shelton’s Bar).

Day Three Was A Big Day: A delicious breakfast at Pancake Pantry. A highly recommended place by many and well known in Nashville. Stopped by The Gulch neighborhood to see the famous “What Lifts You” Wing Mural, and Kittenish by Jessies James Decker (great photo ops there). We also tried the Bird scooters that line Nashville’s blocks.

Another Pool Day: Took time to chill after a busy “Tourist” morning. It rained on and off at the pool and ended up raining into the evening, We were decently wet after walking/running to Blanco for dinner. Blanco was my favorite restaurant on the entire vacation. It was recommended to us for the drinks, which were not necessarily anything unique in my opinion, but the food was!

A Night To Remember: We visited the famous Tooties Orchid Lounge in all it’s purple. We went to The Stage who had an amazing cover band playing that night. We decided to go back to the Jason Aldean Bar for more 90s country. To our surprise it was a DJ. By far the best DJ EVER! It turned into an unexpected evening throwing us back into our college years with all the songs and dancing like we used to do!

The Last Day: We had a long day at the pool drinking Bloody Marys and Pina Coladas. For an early dinner we went to Hattie’s Nashville Hot Chicken. This is a tourist thing you must do and it was tasty! There was a Nashville Walk of Fame we hit on our walk home that evening. It was an early bedtime for me. My body was tired!
