A quick try on session with some Amazon maxi dresses. We are working through some confusing Midwest weather here lately. Thinking Spring but still covering these legs because there are some chilly days.
This dress was not as “Maxi” as the Amazon photo suggested. I am 5’5 and ordered a size small. I did love the uniqueness. The lace and frill was beautiful and the dress was comfortable.
So when I tried this on I thought I remembered it having a deeper V neck. Turns out it was supposed to and mine was sewn…not sure what happened. The little peep hole was not the intended look. This dress had great stretch so if you are looking for comfort this is it. Fits true to size.
I would say put this dress in your back pocket and wear it to a Fall wedding. It was comfortable and fit true to size. Dress this up with some jewelry and nude heels and you are set.
This dress was advertised as tummy control. It is not going to suck and hold you in. That is what I thought it meant when I read “Tummy Control.” What it is going to do it possibly disguise the stomach pooch. This actually might be an even cuter maternity dress? It has great stretch so it would work. This dress would be perfect for a casual summer day pregnant or not pregnant.
It has pockets. My husband always laughs at how excited women get when their dress has pockets. It was very comfortable and fits true to size.
