Books For Fall

The best book to read for the cozy and/or spooky season

I put this book at the top because they are making it a movie. It is set to release this October. The book is by Colleen Hoover, a hugely popular author right now. I do not have a teenage daughter but for those that do this might hit home a little more. Hopefully not a full home run though, because there is a twist and it would be heartbreaking. Be sure to read it right away in preparation for the movie debut. Side Note: the actors that were cast to play the men… ahh chef’s kiss!

My Rating: 4.5/5

I chose this book for Fall because that is the season the story kicks off. I feel like the Fall can sometimes come with some difficult changes. This book is about a relationship that needs work. What better time to focus on our own relationships with the holidays on the horizon and the colder weather slowing us down a bit. This is a christian fiction book so it is also a great read to remind you how your faith can help. It is actually a series but I felt like the book did not need a sequel. In fact, I didn’t really like the sequel.

My Rating: 5/5

This is my favorite book by Colleen Hoover! I was creeped out so that gave me the “Fall Vibes.” SOOOOO GOOD!! It’s got the love story, the sorrow, the villain, the scare, and the twist. This book is also going to be a movie, but will not be released until next year. The cast for this movie is going to be amazing too! If you are on any social media you know this already.

My Rating: 5/5

Definitely a Fall/Halloween read. I actually borrowed this book from the library. I was on a waitlist for it with 18 other people! I went to a few other libraries and it was also a huge waiting list at each of those too. It actually got in my head enough that one night a dreamed my brand new home was haunted. Thank goodness I woke up to sunshine and no ghosts. My only complaint is it talked about spiders too much. I hate spiders!

My Rating: 4.5/5

Definitely a Fall read, and good enough for a Halloween vibe. Not in a creepy spooky kind of way. I really enjoyed this book and think you will too! It tells the story of two different women during two different centuries but it is not confusing to follow along. It has a pretty good rating going on Amazon and I can see why!

My Rating: 4/5

I think it is pretty obvious why I chose this for Fall. The school year has started and this mama will give you a good laugh. It is just a fun lighthearted book to read or listen too. I had this playing on audible as I waited in the school pick up line or ran errands last year. A bonus if you are a kindergarten mom because this class mom is too!

My Rating: 3.5/5
